One Dimension Trajectory Correction Projectile Design and External Ballistic Simulation

Abstract

In order to improve accuracy and precision of shrapnel firing, three piece types drag correction mechanism was designed and its reliability was verified; Computational fluid dynamics software was used for aerodynamic parameters of different projectile model by flow field numerical simulation: Particle trajectory model was established based on ground coordinates and numerical calculation was conducted for trajectory correction projectile shooting range correction capability. Results show that the trajectory correction executive mechanism unfolds smoothly and synchronism is well, and it provides effective correction shooting range 51~220 m. The research results can provide help for one dimension trajectory correction technology research and engineering application.
