Analysis of Passive Location Algorethm and Observability Based on Frequency Range and Spatial Information from the Emitter

In order to overcome ambiguity in passive time difference of arrival and to rectify the erratic behaviors in traditional extended Kalman filter (EKF), an modified covariance EKF (MVEKF) algorithm based on DOA and Doppler frequency measurements is given. Furthermore, the sufficient location conditions for this model are got. The results of the computer simulation prove that it is a good method.
