Explosion Control Method of Missile-projectile Penetrating Hard Target

Abstract

When the high-speed warhead of missile is penetrating hard targets, controlling burst point depth is difficult problem in case of complex stress and the burst point depth without analytical solution. To solve this difficult problem, a controlling method is proposed for explosion point of missile-projectile, which uses the piezoelectric effect of piezoelectric ceramic to generate power energy based on the kinetic energy of missile-projectile's penetration process, so control circuit gets power supply and fuse gets energy to be detonated from the power energy. The paper analyses the principle that ascertain energy in control circuit and factors that effect explosion point of missile-projectile, calculates the parameter range of explosion point depth controlling circuit. Finally, the results of theoretical calculations and analysis verify the validity of the method and consistency of controlling circuit.
