Numerical Simulation and Analysis of a Combined Shaped Charge

Based on the chanacteristics of EFP and annular penetrator, a combined charge structure which can form two kinds of damage element at the same time was proposed. ANSYS/LS-DYNA software was used to simulate the combined charge structure, and influence factors were analyzed. The results show that when the middle liner material density is greater than the annular liner, the speed of annular penetrator is faster than that of the middle EFP, and when the offset d is 2mm, the deflection angle 0 of annular penetrator head is almost 0°, the shape is better and the penetration ability is stronger. The research results can provide a new reference for studying on the charge structure.
