Application of Silicon Carbide Based Composite in Solid Propellant Ramjet

Aiming at solving the thermal protection problem of solid propellant ramjet, by summarizing the research status of the application of silicon carbide based composite at home and abroad for the combustion chambers, nozzles and gas valves of solid propellant ramjet, the excellent performance of silicon carbide based composite such as resistance to high temperature, ablation and high strength was obtained. Based on the working characteristics and key technologies of solid propellant ramjet, the feasibility of applying C / C-SiC composites to various long-term high-temperature components of solid propellant ramjet was analyzed, and the problems in practical application were put forward.
