The Numerical Simulation about Penetration Effect of Unguided Ammunition to Airfield Runway

Abstract

For evaluating the damage effect of unguided ammunition to airfield runway exactly, on the basis of building the finite element model of airfield runway and ammunition, the dynamics simulation software ANSYS/LS-DYNA was applied, three cases of penetrating airfield runway such as vertical penetrating, lean penetrating and with attack angle penetrating were separately computed, and different damage effects were contrasted. The simulation result provides reference for improving damage effect of unguided ammunition to airfield runway penetration.
