The Research on Data Analysis for Solid Rocket Motor Test

Abstract

In order to dig out the law behind solid rocket motor test data, a new research method based on the R language was presented. Based on the statistical theory, by use of the universal methods such as the transform and wave filter to process the given test data, and the special methods such as internal ballistic simulation, the identification of parameters of the solid rocket motor and so on, the data can be analyzed then the hidden information behind in the test data can be got. Furthermore, a data process software platform which using the modeled graph input and interactive operation was developed, and a real test data example which simulated the internal ballistic of the test motor was used to verify the intuitive, accuracy and effectiveness of this data analysis method.
