Abstract

The coupling property of rolling-ballistic missiles was investigated. Firstly, the coupling mechanism was analyzed. Secondly, the coupling property was analyzed quantitatively with diagonal domination and Gershgorin bands. Finally, the influence of the coupling property on the design of the control system was analyzed primarily. The conclusion was drawn; in order to reduce the design difficulty of control system, the actual rolling speed of the rolling ballistic missiles should be less than the maximum rolling speed, and it is mostly limited by sport coupling at the beginning of flying-off, after that by the control coupling.
