A Large Attack Angle Guidance Law for Miniature Air-to-ground Missile

Abstract

There are three constraints on a miniature TV guided missile for attacking target with a large attack angle, they are the frame angle of the seeker, the missile flight attitude and the overload can be used. PNG with frame angle threshold, over-gravity compensation or impact attitude angle compensation are the guidance laws usually used to get large attack angle. Simulation results indicate that the PNG with over gravity compensation asks for least overload of the missile, and large attack angle within all of the constraints can be achieved.
