The Design and Analysis of Tandem Supersonic Annular Air Ejector

Abstract

To satisfy the need of the construction of hypersonic wind tunnel, the state simulation and conceptual study of the tandem supersonic annular air ejector were researched Based on the dimension of ready wind tunnel, the method of one dimension was used, the parameter and performance of the two-stage tandem supersonic annular air ejector in the Φ2m hypersonic wind tunnel were computed at different mach numbers form 4 to 8, total pressure, mass flow rate in different stage and mach number of critical section were given. The research indicates that the use of tandem supersonic annular air ejector could guarantee normal operation of the wind tunnel, but the air supply and space requirements are hard to meet, and the cost of operation is expensive.
