Abstract

The minimum warning distance (MWD) is an important standard of airborne missile approach warning system (AMAWS). Through analysis on the conditions of MAWS and estimation of the MWT, combined with Matlab graphic simulation, the warning distance was modeled, and the model was further modified by seeker ranging analysis, at last the modeling result was summarized. The result of the simulation shows that the threat of frontal attack is the greatest, and it is useful for further study about MAWS.
