The Numerical Study on Penetration Depth Confirmation Based on Overload Information

Abstract

In order to study an effective confirmation method of penetration depth, the penetration through thick concrete was simulated with simulation software, the overload character was obtained through effective mesh control, failure mode choice of target material and reasonable projectile decomposition, the overload information was filtered and integrated, the result conformed with the simulation curve. This method was proved to be reasonable and effective to provide the basis for penetration depth confirmation.
