The Development of a Concentration Calibration Balance for Missile Wind Tunnel Test

In order to test and assess test precision of shaft calibration system for a new six DOF body, a high-precision six-componentstrain balance was developed. The structure, design strain and static and dynamic calibration of the balance were introduced. The balance was calibrated on different calibration equipment of four domestic companies. The result of calibration accuracy is better than the target set GJB2244-94 requirements, meanwhile the dynamic performance tests have been carried on. The test results show that the balance performance is good and can satisfy the precision of the test requirements.
