Numerical Simulation on Rendezvous Process between Electromagnetic Driving Interceptors of Typical Structures and Projectile

For researching rendezvous process between electromagnetic driving interceptors with two typical structures and the simulation130mm explosive penetration projectile, by using AUTODYN software, preliminary rules of damage effect on the simulation projectile were acquired. The result is that when there is kinetic energy ratio and specific rendezvous angle between the electromagnetic driving interceptors and the simulation projectile, the gesture of the simulation projectile in the air is changed significantly and then the simulation projectile is yawed, meanwhile, obvious plastic deformation of the simulation projectile is produced and then the structure of the simulation projectile is damaged, finally, the purpose of shielding projectile is achieved. So utilization of the methods of controlling rendezvous mode and varying the structures of the interceptors, different degree of damage effect of the simulation projectile could be acquired to meet a variety of protection requirements.
