Design Parameter Optimization of Missile Launching System with Genetic Algorithm

Abstract

In order to find optimal design parameter of launching system and improve launching precision, a multi-parameter optimization algorithm based on virtual prototype technology and genetic arithmetic was proposed. First, dynamic model of the missile system was established. The optimal parameters were designed according to engineering practice. Then, the co-simulation model of ADAMS and MATLAB was established. Finally, the code of optimization was programmed based on the genetic algorithm and the simulation was conducted. The results show the initial disturbance of missile decrease and the launching accuracy is improved. It is proved that the multi-parameter optimization algorithm is feasible.
