The Research of Release Safety Analysis Method for External Stores of Weapon

Abstract

In order to insure release safety for external stores of weapon released from jet fighter, the method combining numerical release simulation based on Euler equations with the wind tunnel experiments was proposed to analyze release safety for external stores of weapon. This paper uses some kind of glider bomb released from the jet fighter as example. The simulated attitude angles and release trajectories are consistent with wind tunnel experiment results. The numerical simulation replenishes the wind tunnel experiments. Comprehensive analysis of the release safety insures success of flight test. It also confirms dependability of the analytical method.
