Influence of Bearing Friction Torque on Control Efficiency of Smart Fuse

Abstract

In order to study effect of bearing friction torque on control efficiency of smart fuze of correction projectile, the following analyses were made: Firstly, through amendment to bomb stress analysis, the corresponding control algorithm was designed. Secondly, aerodynamic simulation for missile was done. Through establishment of a mathematical model suitable for correction projectile, control efficiency of fuze was analyzed. The simulation results show that greater bearing friction torque impacts effective fuze control time. So, when correction capability and electrical requirements are met, try to choose bearing with smaller friction torque.
