The Establishment of FEA Platform Based on Full Barrel Projectile Process Using ANSYS/LS-DYNA

Abstract

In order to improve efficiency and accuracy of launch dynamics FEA simulation, establishment of finite element analysis platform was presented, which was built with the consideration of barrel characteristics based on VC++ and ANSYS/LS-DYNA. Experimental result agrees well with the numerical simulation result, which indicates that this simulation method is suitable for agrees well simulation of projectiles launch process.
