Influence of Buoyancy and Criterion Analysis of Aviation Kerosene in Rectangular Channel

The flow and heat transfer characteristic of supercritical pressure RP-3 aviation kerosene in rectangular channel under the action of different overload were studied, and the influence of buoyancy on the kerosene flow and heat transfer was investigated in detail, and the criterion of buoyancy was analyzed. The research shows that with the increase of overload, the effect of buoyancy is more obvious, the secondary flow velocity in the channel increases, the shearing stresses in the rectangular channel increases, the flow pressure loss increases slightly, the heating side wall surface temperature decreases, and the heat transfer deterioration phenomenon is significantly improved. The criterions of buoyancy are not suitable for the flow and heat transfer of aviation kerosene in rectangular channel.
