Reliability Enhancement Test for a Type of Pendulous Accelerometer

For improving reliability of a type of pendulous accelerometer in engineering application, its reliability enhancement test (RET)was required.According to analysis results of FMEA and FTA, different stress profiles based on conventional test equipment were designed, and methods of exploring ultimate stress of the pendulous accelerometer were expounded.Validated by RET, the operating limits were found, laying foundation for the pendulous accelerometer's further design and improvement, it also provided reference for evaluating reliability level of the same type of inertial device.
