Study and Analysis on Error of Magnetic Azimuth Measured by Zero-crossing Point

Abstract

In view of solution error caused by magnetic azimuth measurement with zero-crossing point, the reason for the error was analyzed, and the relationship between roll rate and step size of data acquisition was discussed at the same time.Finally , variation of the error along with the roll rate and the step size was summarized by Matlab simulation, which can be used to reduce cost of experiment.
