Separation of Multiple Ballistic Targetsin Midcourse Based on Background Difference of Time-frequency Images

In order to separate multiple warheads released during the midcourse flight of ballistic missiles, a background difference method based on time-frequency image is proposed.Using ACF-AMDF to analysis target period, obtaining time-frequency images of echo signal by rearranging Gabor distribution.According to the analysis of the target micro-motion periodicity, the time frequency curve of targets are taken as image background, and then the time frequency curves of all targets are obtained by repeated differential operations.Simulation results demonstrate the effectiveness of the algorithm and realized the separation of multiple targets.
