A High Speed Directed Throw System Using Rocket on the Rope

This paper designs a new kind of high speed directed throw device. Testing product is installed in the front part of the rocket, The system use two paralleled ropes to restrain the rocket, accelerate the testing product to subsonic speed, using a separate device which install in the end of the rope, system can separate the rocket and the testing product, and the testing product can fly freely according to inertia effect. This paper introduce the high speed throw system’s structure and operating principle, and give calculation formula of rocket’s mass, and calculate the accelerate distance of the rocket, finally we uses dynamical simulation to calculate the dragging effect of the rocket and give the results. Recently Using this high speed directed throw system, we successfully accomplished high speed directed throw tests of some kind of new drag parachute, the test results are just same as calculation results.
