Abstract

Military conceptual model is the beginning point of the development of military M&S system and is one of the key factors. It has vital meaning to the development of M&S systems. In order to develop the military conceptual model with semantic coherence and develop automatically, the air and missile defense process ontology using the IDEF5 and OWL is studied based on the characters of the process. It is valuable for the semantic coherence and automation in theory and practice as the new thought and method to develop the military domain ontology.
