On Correlated Scout Algorithm Based on Multi-DSP

In order to satisfy the high real-time ability in the process of missile attack, an advanced algorithm of correlation matching is proposed. The hardware realization of this algorithm is also described in detail. Firstly, the image is divided into four parts. Secondly, each part is processed by one DSP. Lastly, debugging is done with correlation matching. The experiment results have shown that the method works excellently in both real-time ability and tracking validity. This system is featured by compact construction, high reliability, and good real-time ability. The system provides a new high-speed processing platform for an image matching system.
