Experimental Study of Explosive Dispersion Form of the Influence on FAE of Cloud Explosion Characteristic and Power

Abstract

In order to analyze the influence of cloud explosion characteristic and power by the central charge tube and multi-point explosive dispersion. Static explosion experimentation was recorded by fast kinematics analysis, piezoelectric sensor and infrared thermo-imaging measurement systems. The experimental data of cloud dispersion, temperature of blast fireball and overpressure of cloud zone of 50kg PO fuel and 1.5 kg dispersion charge of FAE devices by two kinds of igniting were obtained. It is shown that cloud area and ignition shape is similar to different dispersion form mentioned above. The uniformity of cloud and fragments of central charge ignition prevail over that of multi-point ignition. The temperature of the latter is 12% higher than that of the former. The overpressure of the latter is 20%~35% higher than that of the former.
