Research on Direct Torque Control for Hybrid ExcitationSynchronous Motor Driving System

A control method over hybrid excitation synchronous motor (abbr: HESM) is proposed in this article, furfilling the needs for responsiveness, accuracy and stability on driving system. Depending on the electromagnetic torque, this very method is deployed via electriczonal control algorithm basing on direct torque control (abbr: DTC), which regulates the speed with or without excitation at low range; whereas at high range, the regulation for speed is conducted by flux-weaken generated by either excitation current or both excitation-and armature-current. With such a deployment, superior dynamic performance and wide speed range can be obtained, and hence effectiveness is verified by implementing simulation and analysis.
