Abstract

In order to improve the initial emission velocity and the battlefield concealment of surface-to-air missile, a new type of multipole electromagnetic emitter for surface-to-air missile was designed. The structural device of multipole electromagnetic launcher produced electromagnetic ejection force for the ejection coil, and the multipole coil was used to generate a continuous axial accelerating force. Taking a monopole six polar moment coil as an example, electromagnetic field finite element method was used to simulate the launching process and the design procedure of the launcher was proposed. Taking the emission performance of a certain type of surface-to-air missile as the index, according to the principle of emitter and the simulation model to calculate the coil and the circuit parameters of the emitter, the design of multipole electromagnetic launcher of surface-to-air missile was realized.
